Soul Family Law is a Winnipeg practice handling separation, divorce, custody, support and property division through the collaborative method.
Ms. Soul was admitted to the Manitoba bar in 2009 and has practised collaborative law since training in 2011. In the collaborative process, spouses agree not to file court materials and negotiate with their own collaboratively trained lawyers, sometimes alongside communication or parenting coaches, a financial professional or a child-focused adviser. If either spouse later chooses court, written notice is required and both must retain new lawyers. Meetings are held remotely over Zoom or by voice link.
