Brown Family Law

Brown Family Law and Mediation is a Guelph practice focused on family law settlements, mediation and collaborative law. The principal lawyer became a member of the Ontario bar in 2001, has practised only family law since 2004 and has worked as a sole practitioner since 2007.

After about 20 years in the courts, he stopped litigating to concentrate on settlement work, which leaves a more open schedule. He has training in collaborative family law and mediation, seeks to reduce conflict and create value for both sides, and limits the number of clients he acts for. Clients meet with him directly rather than with an assistant or a junior lawyer.
