Beard Winter LLP

Beard Winter LLP is a Toronto firm acting in insurance litigation, corporate law, commercial litigation and employment law, and has done so since 1964.

Its insurance practice group acts for local, national and global insurers on accident benefits and Licence Appeal Tribunal matters, professional negligence and errors and omissions, and property and commercial general liability cases. Three members of that group have been appointed to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. A separate team handles defence-side institutional human rights litigation before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. The firm belongs to the Law Firm Alliance, a network of firms abroad.
